Good Morning Gather, or Audrey's Crazy Coffee Club

TGIF- That is for all of you who will end your work week at the end of today.  I have a lot to get done today but don't plan to push myself too hard since I am still fighting sinus problems.  What do you have planned for the week-end?  I will be preparing for company and on Sunday in addition to church, my church choir is going to a near by town to sing for the residents of a nursing home where one of our long time and loyal chuurch members resides, since her stroke.

 

Come on in and sit a spell and enjoy your coffee while we chat.

Sounds like a busy weekend for you! I will keep you in my prayers for strength to get thru the weekend without feeling bad. I am waiting for COMCast to get here to finish up with the install of my cable and check out what is going on with the internet connection. Thank GOD I can still get on my computer! I would be one mad little white woman if they messed this up!! LOL I have to have my computer fix or I go a little bit nutty!!

I had to do without my computer for a few days, had it in the shop. Sat here pushing my mouse around and saying "YOU'VE GOT MAIL!" Thought hubby was going to lock me in the bathroom or something LOL

I am late today because I didn't get to sleep until way after midnight. I just slept in. Thought maybe a fruit platter and bagels with cream cheese would be good mid morning.

I was going to go to Curves this morning, but it is raining hard and I don't like to get out in the weather like this. Plus the Comcast guys will be here "sometime" this morning. You never know what time they will get here.

My sis who will soon be 76 has gone to Curves for several years. She is really dedicated to it and it has helped her stay healthy and fit.

The thing about cable,phone, etc guys is that they have you at their mercy. Sometime this morning is close enough for them.

Oh, durn it, Gather is glitching on my. Are you having troubles too? Some of the comments are coming and going and then next time they're running together. I guess you know what pixel and the other words mean. I still have to learn . But it really is a lot of fun to look at photos people have posted. That's one of the first things I did on gather. Saw the photos you posted in Oklahoma. It stood out because it was a place close enough to get to that we might actually make it. I like your pictures, Audrey. Did Gabby go back to bed?

Oh, Audrey, I really hate to agree with you that you need to be working and not gathering, but with all of that to do, you really do need to get off and go to work. You've got your time layed out for you already. Boy oh boy. I'm still having some troubles with the gather glitching sticking whatever it is that it is doing.

Hey has anyone been reading the post by Emmett Townsend? Sgt. Nate Stone sends him emails and they are specific to Anbar Province where he is stationed in Iraq. These posts bring close to the heart what the guys are going through and make us remember as we plan our weekends that their out there killing insurgents and sometimes getting hurt themselves. Sgt. Stone is 26 years old, just had his birthday and he is expected home around Dec. 7th. He needs lots of prayers as his job puts him in dangerous situations daily. Please remember him and read his posts through Emmett.
