I don't OWE you anything!

No explanations, No apologies

My insides were hollOWEd

out by your rage.

FlOWErs that once flourished

now wither from neglect.

I started to cOWEr in fear

and hide in self-doubt.

Discouragement spread like weeds.

How do I get my pOWEr back?

I will not lOWEr myself to your level

and retaliate your words or your deeds.

My sisters have helped to empOWEr

my will to survive.

I want my pOWEr back!

Your intentions to berate and belitte me were avOWEd,

but my spirit is still intact.

My words, My deeds, My life

I reclaim them now!

I don't OWE you anything!
