Guess what...

I still have not finished "Cell"... Yeah ummm... I read another book but I'm still stuck on the whole killer cell phone thing... I know that's not really what the book is about but O MY... Killer cell phones... LOL... Hey I'm doing better than my mom though... For those of you who don't know... Me and my mom made a deal, she would read one of my books if I read one of hers... She's reading "Dead Witch Walking" - Kim Harrison and I'm reading "Cell"- Stephen King... She's only made it to page 60 or so and I'm halfway through her book... LOL... I'll admit there are parts that are really good but I still think Stephen King is just crazy!!!! LOL... Please GOD get me through this!! LOL... Ok I'm done now :)

I am with you on Stephen King. Though the man may be brilliant, I can't read his work. However, my husband has read almost everyone. With regard to my mother, we read the same stuff, historical romance. It is great to be able to trade books you really want to read with someone.

That's a great idea to share books with your mother. That way you both get to understand more of their personality. I have read a few of my daughter's books and I know that she read some of the same books from when I was younger but our personalities are closer in what we read. Although, I don't get some of her books. I love Stephen King, but I haven't even heard of cell. Thanks for the heads up.

King can be... long winded. And if you dont like a bit of insanity, you wouldn't like him.
I actually loved Cell. The sad thing is it is a possiblity to send a signal that could kill someone. Which is probably why I liked it.
