Yard sales can be fun for the whole family. You can find alot of neat items that you wouldn't find anywhere else. Antiques,clothing,vintage items,resell items, you name it you can usually find it at a price much less then you would have to pay for "new" items. My crew loves to go to yard sales, where else can you get a 50.00 pair of shoes for .25 cents?
If you are thinking about getting into the yard sale groove then buy a local paper for approx .25-.50 cents and map out each yard sale for the day you are looking to go. Cross out the ones that don't interest you and highlight the ones that you want to see. Get up early and start because the early bird gets the worm. Have fun and wear comfortable clothing. Pack a lunch so you wont waste your savings going out to eat. Make sure your car is cleaned out so you will have plenty of room for all those big bargains! Most of all have Fun!
