Lawrence's are based on what HE wants to happen and WHO he likes - nothing wrong with that but it's not the norm. I like his list also but I think mine is closer to what you might see in print.
As a check - I went to The USA TODAY's Sports Weekly.There Top Ten:
NE - IND - DALL - PIT - DEN - SD - CHI - BAL - GB - SF.
Same 10 that I have but a slightly different order EXCEPT they have my NINERS and I selected HOU to "give them their props" to use YOUR words, Neeetah! They have HOU at #11.
See - great minds think (maybe not alike) but CLOSE!

Everybody knows how much of a fan/fanatic I am about the NINERS.
Now hear this:
I saw both of their games, from start to finish.
I would LOVE to have them in anybody's Top 10, and they are one of the 2-0 teams . . .
at this time.
But, let's keep this real!
Keeping it real, as much as I LOVE the 49ers,
Their last two performances were
PATHETIC
and not worthy of a Top 10 team, but of course the glory days of the NFL are gone -- it isn't the same as before, and Tom you know that. Said all that to say this:
If USA Today considers the Niners a Top 10 team . . .
with their last 2 performances.
I have no further comment.
Neither is Dallas (despite any new acquisitions, and neither is Chicago.)
