Right--hence Maiden! Not Mother YET! The direction is center is a default that I built into my database. Most of the goddesses had been entered before I added that field, so they say center, but then wherever we are standing is the center of our universe, so it's appropriate.

Some goddesses are in fact associated with certain directions, but i have not got the update page for my website fixed---needs a good php programmer with sql, and i have not taken the time to do it.
