First, Dick Cavett, witty talk show host. He titled yesterday's incredible blog 'Him, To Kick Around Again.' http://cavett.blogs.nytimes.com/2007/09/18/him-to-kick-around-again/?8ty&emc=ty
Next, Rutu Modan's Mixed Emotions: http://modan.blogs.nytimes.com/2007/09/04/queen-of-the-scottish-fairies/ This wonderful cartoon is called 'Queen of the Scottish Fairies.'

One of the soldiers, Michael Jernigan, was among the wounded soldiers interviewed by James Gondolfini in the recent HBO Documentary Alive Day Memories: Home From Iraq.
