I just got home from choir practice. It is a beautiful evening here in Iowa, no coat needed. I always feel lifted up after singing. I hope everyonw has had a good day.

I fine, even got the lawn mowed today and painted a bookcase. Don't think white was the tight color. Hard to cover up some of the designs my daughter put on it..
saw 4 clients today and did some resource work for some of mu clients. I have two families that the dad is recently unemployed and it is not feasible for the mom to work, lots of needs and not always enough ways to meet the needs
Yeah I took a stage combat class a few years ago & loved swinging a sword, so me & another guy from class go every Wed. to swing swords in the park! I love it!
Brian, I look at a website everyday to see if there are new postings in my field. I love my job, but there may be a time I need to make a move Nothing wrong with looking for what might be the next best thing
My mother-in-law just had shoulder surgery & is staying w/us for the next few weeks...luckily we get along pretty well, she is a retired nurse though, so she's a horrible patient!
I don't think so Grems. I did get the windows in front washed and the new curtains hung today. The wrinkles were hard to press out of the curtains. I was really sweating when I finally had that done and they were hung.
More power to you Audrey...my curtains are dark velvet so who knows when I'll ever get to washing them...maybe when we buy our house, hopefully at the beginning of next year.
Acutally thinking about having a cleaning service once a month. sometimes its just too much with both of us working and my schedule being so erratic...

I think a cleaning service would be good unless it strains the budget too much. I have a friend who is a single mom with two kids and she has someone come to clean twice a month.
LOL Grems!! I love her, but I think I just may have to tie her down for the next few days while she's supposed to be on bed rest! :) And getting a cleaning service is amazing!! I highly recommend it, I got it for a few months after my daughter was born & it was a life saver
Our parish every year has the taste of St. Irenaeus. folks from the parish contribute different ethnic dishes and people come and have a taste of different things. It's a great time to be together and enjoy new tastes.
Glass of wine here. Been strugglng to get my website at BlueHost done. Not as easy as I anticipated, but one way or other with helpdesk will go hot next week. I should have done this ages ago. But now its imperative. The review I'm working on now for First Draft Mag will be print and online so I really need a link to me to get more writing assignments.

I cut up a bunch of green pepper and froze them last night. About time to start pulling up the plants the are finished producing. Lot of tomatoes are still green, hope they turn red soon/
Larry I like to keep some green pepper frozen to put into chili when the weather gets cold. I think we will have a little while longer with garden produce in this area. It has been warm again the last few days and nights.
Oooh Larry, Green tomatoes are great too. Slice thick, brush with mixture olive oil, soy sauce, salt and pepper and toss on hot grill pan, outdoor grill or just plain frying pan. Eat plain, as side dish or puree for sauce for pasta, etc., etc., etc.
