Story Quarterly is having a fiction contest, and the deadline is October 30th!
They accept novel entries, short stories and short short stories - all must be unpublished elsewhere. Word maximum is 8,000.
The GOOD news is the prize money.
First place is awarded $2,500
Second gets $1,500
Third gets $750
Ten finalists will receive $100 each, as well.
