Attention: Change in our group

Hello, friends! Hope your day is going well.

I appreciate your connection with The Writer's Craft and love the article additions that deal with writing and other related helpful posts. I started this group so we writers would have a haven for down-to-earth, applicable information about our professions (or hobbies).

However, since our group is getting posts about subjects other than the actual craft, I've decided to make article submissions subject to approval before they are posted. I WILL post everything that remotely deals with writing or our experiences with it, though. So keep posting.

Please, please, please don't let this change stop ANY of you from submitting. I (and others in this group) crave the information from experienced as well as new writers.

I realize that when members make "mass posts" to their groups, there is no "reminder" of which groups are which (and what their guidelines are - if any). That's fine. I just want this writing group to be devoted to writers, their lives, and their tips to the rest of us - and not announcements or requests for readings.

Again, thanks for being part of The Writer's Craft. Write on!

That's part of my issues with posting to groups, I never remember which is technique vs story. lol.
No problem with the moderated. Then they throw it out if I chose wrong.

Glad you understand why I went this direction with the moderation. I have been in the SAME situation. Wish Gather would put a little reminder (next to the group name) of what the group "is."

I'm just glad we have a great community of writers here.
