Good morning everyone.  Tuesday is here and it looks like another nice day in Iowa.  I had a change of schedule from my normal Tuesday morning volunteering at school and will be going tomorrow instead.  I had problems with my fibro yesterday and hope today is better.

What are your plans for the day?  Come on in and sit a spell and chat over your morning coffee.

Depends on where that cross exam is going to be, kinda like life right now.
Thanks, Mom, in the past 16 years I had a total of 2. It still smells good when I smell it, still one day at a time. Nevada just passed a law that there is no smoking in restaurants or where they serve food like on one side of the bar or casino, but the smoke from the bar or from the gamin areas still drift. And, some of the business owners are bucking the system and trying for a repeal. What a mess!

I didn't even have a lock on the bathroom with 5 kids. It was understood that if the bathroom door was shut you knocked before entering. The boys seldom barged in as we had a stool in the basement or they went outside.
When my youngest was preschool age he didn't want to come in the house to go but didn't want me to see him outside doing it so he went behind a tree in the front yard. Of course then he was in full view of anyone driving by on the road.

Audrey, It just didn't work that way in my house. My child, the neighbors. But the dogs and cats are absolutely the worst. This bathroom here doesn't have a lock. Of course, grown kids will respect privacy. The dogs and cats have no concept of it. Or don't care.

When I was a kid, my dad and I HATED the smell of gardenias and my mom would plant one, and it would be dead within a month. She kept planting them and planting them and they kept dying. She finally caught him peeing on the bushes. hheheeheh

Yes, I used to bench around 400lbs.. Then three years ago I got cancer.. after surgeries and all the complications... I would be lucky to bench 250 if I tried.. All the muscles in my neck and upper right shoulder blade were cut out.. Neck Disection...

Timothy, I'm sending you a hug. I just had a spot removed for squamous cell cancer on my cheek. Doc is 99% sure that he got 100% of it. I hope they got all of yours!!!

Tim, I am sorry to hear that but so thankful you are still here with us. I work with weights at 68 (that's age)because I have to keep strong in the shoulders,neck and legs because of previous injuries. I will be going to the gym around 11:30 this morning.
And, what kind of toast? I like white, sourdough, and cinnamon.

Well.. Quite honestly health wise things could be better.. The cancer is gone, for now, but it left one hell of a destruction path in its wake... Including, blood clots, pulmonary embolism, phenomena... So yeah. it sucked.. but I try not to dwell on it..

Thanks for the good words guys! I appreciate it.. But all in all things turned out great! I got fired from my job for having cancer... in doing so I became a much happier person.. LOL... That place was the den of Satan himself LOL... honestly disability right now lets us barely survive.. but were happy!

Okay guys, I need your thoughts and prayers for Fri. It is the bit endoscopy/colonoscopy day. don't know if the weight loss is from just eating less and mmore healthy (not doing it on purpose!) or if it is someithing else. this is a result of the atypical chest pain in July. not nervous about the test, but nervous about the results.
<--- has a stash of herbal teas, used to take them to restaurants when coffee messed up the b/p. K, I'll get some regular coffee, I drink half caff with the caff being hazlenut and the no caff is regular. Love that hazlenut!

Tim, God works in mysterious ways sometimes and it is good you don't have to deal with a bad job situation and health problems too. You need your strength to heal.

I didn't have cancer. But I had injuries and surgeries and I wasn't ready to go back after the year of medical leave so I lost my job too. It's really hurt us financially. I'm sorry you had to go through all that with the cancer. I'm glad you're happy. Sometimes working takes everything from you and leaves no time for quality. I must admit I have enjoyed a good bit of being off. Less stress, less rushing. Less money is no fun, and creates some problems. But I'd have never gotten on Gather had I been working.
