All Things Iowa content needs your approval

To which I respond... WHERE?

When I go to stateofiowa.gather.com to check for this article that "needs approval", I see "manage group content: 1". I click on it and it shows me there is NOTHING that needs approval.

I've already checked for the possibility of 'adult content', since I normally have that blocked by default. And still, nothing shows up needing approval.

What can I do about this phantom content that needs my approval?

It's possible it includes content you don't allow- nudity, violence, language flags, etc.

Well, if it isn't allowed, it should be automatically rejected and not show up needing approval.

OK... I just tested the group setting theory, which also includes changing my personal settings, to allow adult content.
I still do NOT see any article that requires approval.
Now excuse me while I go change these setting back to their proper (original) configuration...

Michael I know other people are having this problem...the gather guides have told other people how to get rid of it but I dont remember how.

Michael, when you see that you have an article/photo/video that needs approval and there isn't anything there, this means the person deleted the item after publishing to your group. For some reason the request for approval does not get deleted at the same time. I have 8 of them myself in my group.

At this time, there is not a means to remove these false entries. Hopefully Gather will rectify this little 'glitch' sometime in the near future.
