How often do you change your GAther icon??

You know who you are...  the compulsive icon changers...  I've been on here a couple of weeks, just starting to get to know people and then the icons change... and change again.  Determined to drive me crazy... :)

How many times have you changed your icon?  And why have you changed it?

I Think in the last month I've changed it twice. For Halloween I'll change it again :)

If I find a picture that fits my mood, i am liable to change it. I like the one I have now, so I may stay with it for a while.

Well I had a pic of me & my daughter but my hubby freaked out about having her on there so I deleted all photos (had 3) and changed it to the cube with her drawing - she's 5 and is a little artist - IMHO. so that's it only 2 so far. I HATE pictures of just me so don;t think I'll go ther - might scare y'all (hee-hee)

I change it as the mood strikes me. After all, you don't wear the same clothes all the time, do you? It's just a matter of preference and personal choice.

I changed mine when I got a new hairdo. I will probably change it again when I get it done again, but I should still be recognizable! :)

I don't change it terribly often. I cannot hazard a guess how many times I've changed it in the year I've been a member.. a handful or so times I'd say.

I change it out of boredom, for holidays or just when I post a new photo that I like.

I don't change mine often though I will change it if I find one that appeals to me more. I might change it for the holidays but, not sure about that yet. I hear you though, when people change their icon, I don't recognize anyone anymore!!

I have only had the generic and the picture I have now because I could not upload one for so long. I am pretty well satisfied with the one I have and would not change just to change.

I have changed mine twice, the first one I got as an icon on the net and apparently someone got in a huff about it and said I was copyrighting or something, so I changed it. Looking for another one to use now.

I had to change mine when the original one I chose suddenly did a vanishing act one day. So, I've only had two since I've been a member.

I change mine a lot...sorry. I know, it's very annoying and confusing, but I change it everytime I take a picture that I like a lot, and that seems to be quite often!

Even though my photo is ten years old I won't change it until I'm 90. Some people now can change their icon all they want and I'll figure out who they are - for most of you, forget it. If you change your icon we can't be friends anymore because I have no idea who you are!!!!

The internet can be so disorienting, anyway.

I've changed my icon once and I might change it again but I don't plan on it any time in the near future!

I have changed it only once and that was to put up a more current picture. The one I had previously been using was over 2 years old.

I change according to my mood. During the FCR you saw me smiling and out there. Now that round one is over I'm feeling pensive. Sometimes I get tired of seeing my mug and I'll change to flowers or something inanimate. For newbies, I'd suggest looking at the user name. Who can forget Layla...like the song ;-0

I changed briefly during a Gather Appreciation week where everyone was asked to find a star icon... I chose a purple starfish.

I love taking photographs and when I find one that I particularly like, I change my icon. I never thought how that must confuse people. Sorry.
