Depends on how long its been since the bankruptcy, how your credit has been since the bankruptcy, what your job history is, how much the loan is for, and how big of a down payment you are contributing.

I agree with Heather on this. They use to say that some one who has bankruptcy is a great credit risk because they can't file again for awhile. I don't know what the attitude is now.

There are legal limits on repeat bankruptcy filings but it depends on if you have been discharged from your debts. It also depends on your credit reports, the three major credit reporting companies will keep a bankruptcy filing on your record from seven to ten years, whether you completed the bankruptcy or not. (I work in the bankruptcy court)
