F: Family

F is definitely for Family.  They can be wonderful and yet worrisome at the same time.
Families vary so much in their make-up.  My family could definitely be turned into a soap!
Families are foremost in my mind right now because I'm having a little trouble with mine.
Forecasts are bleak and sometimes it seems hopeless, but you can't help to love them all
For my part, I'm doing all I can to help out, but I'm at a loss right now.  I can't
foreclose the details, but I hope everything turns out for the best.  It's
fitting that I happen to be on 'f' in my alphabet series because of this trouble.  It's sad I
feel that I am the only one in the family that can deal with this situation.  I love my
family.  I really do, but it seems that our family like more and more in the
far reaching world is dysfunctional! 
Following this article, I think it'd be great if you would leave your comments about your
family.  Why you love them and why they are a headache sometimes!  Any
funny stories about them?  It sure would make me feel better!

We have a great, happy dysfunctional family! That is as far as I can go with out diving into the deep end of the pool, not knowing how to swim!

Awww, family. Gotta love 'em. I read somewhere recently that the norm in families is now being dysfunctional. Does that help?

I have a homeless brother, an alcoholic who would rather live on the streets than stop drinking. He lives in PA, so the winters are often harsh. Then he lives in cardboard boxes or abandoned cars or buildings.

My favorite cousin has a master's degree in psychology but can't seem to work for and with other people. So he's delivering buses for a living.

Yep. Gotta love those families.

Family is a total universe. For better or worse, I am who I am because I am forever one of them. And I write what I write because they've given me all the material I will ever need to write and write and write until I fall down dead from exhaustion. The trilogy I'm working on is all about family---going back from this generation, peeling back layers of experience to look closely at the source and course of the blood that flows in my veins. No scientific experiment was ever this fascinating as the exploration I'm now engaged in. Family? What a gift to me.

Families can definitely be wonderful and worriesome. And some can even be selfish (like mine) but at least I have the family of my husband and daughters to balance it out. Great article!

I know what it is like to live without love after having my children kidnapped from me in an ice cream parlor. I always was the only support and the custodial parent, they were 3 and 4 years old. They were my whole world. It looked hopeless and I became suicidal over it. Took almost two years to get them back.

Family means the world to me and family is also the people around me who I love and who love me. I am nothing without family/love
