I put this together for those who are not into football:
The time to end this war is now.
Five years ago,
President Bush made his case
for war at the United Nations.
He was wrong.
But conventional thinking in Washington lined up for war.
Too many politicians feared looking weak
and failed to ask hard questions.

Too many took the
President at his word
instead of reading
the intelligence for themselves.
Congress gave the President
the authority to go to war,
and our only
opportunity to stop
the war was lost.
I made a different judgment.
I opposed this war from the beginning.
I opposed the war in 2002.
I opposed it in 2003.
I opposed it in 2004.
I opposed it in 2005.

I opposed it in 2006.
And I introduced
a plan this January
to remove all of our
combat brigades by March 2008.
My plan for turning the page on
Iraq is clear:
remove our combat troops from Iraq’s civil war by the end of 2008
take a new approach to press for reconciliation within Iraq
escalate our diplomacy with all of Iraq’s neighbors and the United Nations
confront the human costs of this war directly with increased humanitarian aid

Barack in San Francisco! Here's the Video Link:
Speaking on Women's Issues and sponsored by Women for Barack

Last week in San Francisco, Women for Obama brought together over 1,500 women to hear Barack's message of change. "This year, your voice -- your vote -- will be the deciding factor in forging a new future," Barack told the crowd.
San Francisco Obama for Women Speech

(This is Ann Dunham, Barack Obama's mom.)
Maybe not enough credit has been given to her from the media.
Senator Obama says she instilled in him the concept to alway treat people that way he would want to be treated. She sounded like an incredible woman as you read about her.
Why do Republicans love Obama?
Maybe because he is a family man?
And also because Republican faithfuls LOVE Senator Obama.
In the group that I volunteer in
,
there are almost as many cardbearing Republicans
as there are Democrats. I found that surprising,
although I suppose I should not.
Senator Obama is a uniter,
and people are people.
They want change.
They are tired of business are usual.
They are tired of politics as usual.
They are tired of being shut out . . .
shut out of everything that belongs to them
as Americans.

So, I am no longer surprised
to see Republicans
in the Obama
campaign camp

supporting this uniter for President

Republicans also have

The presumptuousness,
that spirit and specialness,
that Umph!
that all Americans SHOULD have --
the AUDACITY TO HOPE!

Enjoy!
Oprah'd be proud.
Now as far as being vice president to a Clinton. Not on your life ! Look what happened to Gore. Clinton did what Clinton wanted to do and left Gore, who has been as straight up as anyone could be, paid with some votes for Clinton's debacle. No, I'd never consider being vice president to a Clinton.

I know I should be political, but ooooh how I love that photo of Clooney and Obama -- two gorgeous men.
It should be a pinup photo
Thanks for chiming in on my car article too ;)
Always -- you know that? I am disturbed at kitty though. I must tell you that my sister is a cat fanatic and I will insist that if you don't get answers to contact her. She's a bit of a snob, but when it comes to animals, especially kitties, she softens up.
About his team? You've put me on the spot because of the fella always holding the beer.
Obama? I cannot speak for him, but since he is GOING TO BE PREZ, I would assume he would be for all teams, right?
Have you seen my "Surrender Obama" article? We San Franciscans or the Bay Area is demanding Chicago to release Obama to us. He is far too gracious to tell them he ain't theirs anymore. You know what I mean?
I have overlooked one very special person in this article, haven't I?
I haven't checked to see what you have been up to today. Just got back in here a few ago. Better not be any more food, or I am coming to get you. Man -- Gatherers sure like to cook, don't they? I am still chowing on cheese pizza from earlier :=) so you won't tempt me this time!
To be a Subaheim-Wurbizer is more distinguished in this country is more than being a Windsor in Britain!
But it's also like the Invasion of the Body Snatchers!
Thanks for the compliment. I just used what I had.

Thanks to Barbara from my former stomping grounds.
--Barbara regarding your article I was wondering what ever happened to the Wathens?
I went to school with them and at that time they were the big housing developers. I don't see their housing tracts going up anymore.
Thanks Jeff and
Mamadou
--ooops.
Telephone.
I won't be moved. I am toooo stuffed. Hah!
"Not into football? How about pics of Marg Helgenberger?" it would have made my day. ;)
Welcome back, Doll! I was hoping you would say MEEEEE, and not Marg! But I guess that might have been a bit much (ROFL). This may sound a little sexist, but the images were designed more so for the ladies, Bret, so we've Clooney and Obama. I did even consider Pitt and Denzel, but I didn't want to put anyone else in the hospital -- what with you and Esther I would think we've had enough of THAT!
I am soooooooooo happy you're back. Holler at you again soon!
((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))
Even if I am not Helgenbergen!
p.s. I don't handle dead people ;=)
p.s. the misspell on the name was intentional, Bret! Some women do that on purpose when they are JEALOUS! |:=[
But Bush first1
Marg Helgenstein, my foot!
haha
I'm glad I found this excellent photo essay. Lady Nalita, you did a super job putting things together in an entertaining way (so I actually read it all instead of skimmed)!!!
YOU NEED TEN GOLD STARS!!!
