I have written plays, short stories, articles, and essays, but never a book. Now, I have outlined my book and need to find outlets such as book stores that would help me. Any suggestions?

Whatever you do I hope to see your book at the store some day!

And I can do some artwork if you want :^)
Once you've done the outline, you need to get to the writing stage. If you feel confident in your ability, you could complete the book. If not, you could try going to writer's groups for feedback. Another tack is to send sample chapters and a synopsis of your book to an agent. It helps to have a published author who can request that an agent actually take time to read your work or it could get lost in the "slush puddle" or the wealth of manuscripts out there.
Good writing can stand out. I've been published in magazines and other venues and I did it without any "contacts" but by sending out query letters. I'd suggest you read some basic books on how to proceed from outline to book submission. Good luck!
I wish you the best of luck in this exciting endeavor
Once it's edited, then the long process of trying to find a publisher. You can always go the POD route, and yes I've used them myself. I presently have 6 books published through
Lulu.com
my Lulu Storefront is
ERNIE'S BOOKS
Whenh you're ready, ask me about Lulu and I'll gladly help.
