Where's My Passion?

When I began to reflect on this question, it took some time to decide what I wanted to share.  I have so many different passions; it’s hard to choose just one.  I guess my biggest passion is reading, especially fiction.  I could spend full days doing nothing but reading.  But, because I have so many interests, I don’t spend all of my time reading.  I also write, paint, bike ride, garden, cook and dance - naming just a few of my passions.  All of these activities help to fuel my imagination.  This list is rather long, but it's hard to choose just one of these. Does anyone share any of my passions?

I write because I can't not write. It is virtually the only thing I am passsionate about...well, maybe Taylor HIcks, too! ;-)

Well... definitely "gardening"... but I also write, craft (beading, dried flowers, papermaking, wreath making, Xmas ornaments, collage, decopage, and a host of other things...) I was a dancer and dance teacher (before I became ancient and fat...) Then there's some photography and 2-d art using "PhotoShop" type programs... canning... and about a thousand other things... :o)

Thank you Jean. The dance I do is called Nia - a combination of yoga, Ti Chi, Joy of Movement. It's perfect for anyone who likes movement and rhythm.

It sounds like you have multiple passions.

I think I share all of the passions you've listed. Nice things to have in common. Most of all I write the stories of the families I know. The history, the long lineages woven into this ranchland tapestry. Life is a passion I cannot resist.

I like sewing, quilting, crochet and cooking if it is fast meals. I enjoy your love of reading also but the time for it has escaped me lately.

I love reading too, although I generally go for the memoirs. I really enjoy reading about the lives of other people. I've been working on my own memoir now for a couple of years.

All the things I do, I do because I enjoy them, I read, write, here of course, I paint, not as often as I should or used to, and I shop because I love too, (sometimes take it all back later, ) and I sing all the time, I don't know why, but I love to sing, I guess you could call that a passion, I guess I must be okay, if I can keep on singing.

I shop too. Sometimes I take it back later, especially if it doesn't fit or look like the model makes it look in a catalogue. It's fun...stress relief. Singing must be the best!
