This is a particularly fun installment for me, the first part of my annual cliffhanger. My story is "Elimination Part One" in the Luminations series. Hope you enjoy!
Volume 21: September, 2007Hello everyone! Volume 21 of The Edge of Propinquity has been published! She's narrowed down the possibilities to three people and is ready to figure out which one of them took the rune. The only problem is that her three suspects also happen to be her three best friends.

Duncan learns about the old Italian guy in his head while below him the Ghost Lords argue about procedure, only to be interrupted by grave news about one of their own. Meanwhile, Rod flips out, Bree puzzles things out, and Mac is determined to have it out with Enid.
Vorare - Drownings by Ivan Ewert The homunculus is disposed of, along with his former friend; but in order to truly protect his mother Gordon will need more help than his Ally can offer. How much protection can be offered - and what will be the cost?

The Edge of Propinquity is an urban fantasy horror webzine founded by a friend of mine, Jennifer Brozek. There are four serial stories on the site, each written by a different author. I'm one of those "regular" authors. My serial is called "Luminations", and it's a series of detective stories with a "geeky" feel to them and some supernatural elements. During the first year of TEoP, my stories focused on a character named Chester Hall, a private investigator. For the second year, the spotlight is on a character named Nancy Mateo, the owner of a secondhand bookstore. The stories are set in the recent past (my "story year" is about a year back from the date Im writing) in the New England states.
The other three current serials are Jenn's "Kendrick" and James Sullivan's "Santa Maria", both urban fantasy, and a purely horror series called "Vorare by Ivan Ewert.
TEoP is published on the 15th of each month, with a new installment in each serial, and also a standalone story by a guest authors. TEoP is open to submissions and pays $50 per guest story. I posted the guidelines in a recent Gather article.
TEoP is currently closing in on the end of its second year. It's been challenging keeping up with the deadlines, but I'm pleased with the 21 stories that I've written so far and looking forward to doing more. I'd love it if some of my Gather connections would head over to TEoP and check out the writing. I'd also love to get some feedback on my stories.
As mentioned above, TEoP is www.edgeofpropinquity.net
That covers about all I can think of at the moment. Comment if there is anything else you would like to know.
