The Edge of Propinquity - Online magazine of urban fantasy and horror. A new issue went online today, including the first part of my annual cliffhanger story in my "Luminations" series of geeky supernatural/detective stories. The Edge of Propinquity is now accepting submissions for guest stories for 2008. This is a paying market, seeking stories of the "Hidden World" with the theme of retaliation. Guidelines are here.
Palindramas - Palindromic webcomic by Dan Mazur. He's posted several new installments recently.

Those of you into costume design, and those who just like looking at pics of geeky guys will want to take a look at Men of Dragoncon, now updated with photos from Dragoncon '07.
For the Browncoats in the audience, Gather's own Laura Cushing and Aus Cushing are running an online Firefly/Serenity roleplaying game called Into the Black. It is currently starting up a new season and recruiting new players.
Master Plan - The latest installment of Ryan Macklin's podcast on roleplaying game design features an interview with Leonard Balsera of Evil Hat Productions, who talks about a design concept central to the FATE -- the system used by Spirit of the Century and the upcoming Dresden Files RPG -- called the Fractal.
Good Causes
Finis: A Book of Endings to Give People New Beginnings - This charity anthology of unhappy endings in the style of the old "Choose Your Own Adventure" books is now available. It includes three stories that I wrote, and proceeds benefit ongoing relief for victims of Hurricane Katrina.
For those in the Cleveland OH area, my friend Euphrates brings word of the upcoming 5th Annual Adoption Walk to benefit Adoption Network Cleveland. The walk will take place September 23, 2007.
Upcoming Events
We are now confirmed for the Labyrinth event put on by Wicked Faire September 28-29 in Edison NJ. We will have a table in Labyrinth's Cartoonists' Corner.
We will also have a table at The Comic Book Show in Nashua NH on October 14, 2007.
Information is already online for next year's Pi-Con, August 22-24 2008 in West Springfield MA. We are tentatively planning on attending.
We are now confirmed for next year's SPACE (The Small Press & Alternative Comics Expo) is scheduled to return to the Aladdin Shrine Center in Columbus OH on March 1-2, 2008.

I write comics. My latest is Zephyr & Reginald: Minions for Hire #2, illustrated by my wife, Gynn Stella.
I also write an ongoing fiction serial at The Edge of Propinquity, which appears each month along with four other stories by very talented writers. A new issue was published today. Go check it out!

My personal zine is Caravan, which appears in the Phoenix APA. I'm starting work on a new issue of Caravan in the next few days.
