I have banned myself from the T.V. I know, it may not be very grown -up, but I have not ever had the urge to do that anyway. I can't help but notice that we have a lot of sadness going around and in the midst of this there must be something good. For me, today, it was getting an e-mail saying that our local phone service company was going to donate to our "Tribute to Troops" This means we may get to send those darn phone cards after all. They cannot provide cards that are condusive to international calling, but they are sending a cash donation.
I know a lot of you suffer health problems and like me you wake up and say "Thank you Lord for the Day", anyway. My other good news is that CHI-CHI, the new puppy is happy to just find three new things a day to chew up instead of nine, and he has learned that feet are not good to get underneath. So I want to hear from all of you about some happiness in your own personal life, and that we are all ok. , despite the clouds of misery that try to fly around us, Your friend, Ellen B

I had a good interview yesterday and I recieved a call for another interview next week. I am going to the psychic fair tomorrow and I am doing some state employment testing on Wednesday in the hopes of finding a job. This is all making me feel better about myself.
get me out of the house and I just might run to Macy's because it is a sale day and
I am looking for a new purse, and I am picky about those kinds of things, so might have
a bit of fun if I find one. All in all everyone is well, that is good news, I feel good, so that is good too
30 years since I was supposed to have died, and I thank God for every
minute. For the time I have spent with family and with friends. And for
