Memories Linger on...and I wonder why?
Memories of my childhood house , the playing spaces and places and the sharp striking smiling sometimes angry faces haunt me every now and then. Some give pleasure some peace some make me laugh and some make my heart beat; I love to write about them and after digging into my Mothers fading albums from the old store I managed to retrieve a few photographs.

As I was sorting and viewing them I found one photograph of the front lawn and gate of my house 24 Willoughby Road where we lived for nine long years. recently I had stopped by the place and with permission of the family residing there had quickly clicked away my mobile phone camera....I wondered at the change in technology too....there was one which I found to be from the same angle , only that between the two there had come a time gap of more than fifty years.....for long I kept looking as memories flashed by.
The change in the two was strange...
Perhaps my friends you too would like to share memories of your childhood places or houses or perhaps some unforgettable faces....... that still brush past your memories

My grandmother's house was sold some time ago, I was born there.
It held many memories. Recently, I drove by the house. The new owner remodeled the front of the home. They removed many things my grandfather built. It made me feel so sad. I wish the house could have stayed in the family somehow.
