My Daughter's Birthday

Today is my daughter's birthday and I want to celebrate it here with my Gather friends. 

She was born September 14, 1979 at exactly 12:43. 

She is 28 years old.  Where did the time go?  She was just a little girl with sun kissed reddish blond hair bouncing all around the playground.  Picking wildflowers and giving such sweet kisses to all her loved ones.  Her smile lit up the world and still does.  She has beautiful blue eyes that sparkle and twinkle with an inner beauty.  Such a sweet face.  Where did my time go?  She's all grown up now and we have grown even closer than we were as we are able to share on a more equal basis.  She's still a little imp from time to time and has a beautiful laugh that fills the air.  I want my daughter to know, as she is a gather member, that I think she is the most beautiful, intelligent, loving, honest, sweet, generous, and kind soul that make her father and I so proud.  (Is my prejudice showing?)  She has a beautiful and sweet spirit. 

I know that every mother feels this way about their child or children but I just had to express how I feel.  Thank you for indulging me.
