He was running from the dog and didn’t see the pool till it was too late. They look so pathetic when you take them out. For a while they will lie there like they are dead. After a while they get up and hop away.
It's been my experience that rabbits have a sensitive nervous system. They don't handle stress well at all. I think it's a matter of luck that the rabbit survived being chased by the dog and ending up in the pool.
I've never had a rabbit in the pool, but we used to have to fish out birds and squirrels all the time. I never understood the birds being in there, how do they manage it I wonder. A rabbit is way cooler. yaya
