I just received an email from Ebay@support.com. The message suggested that emails from Ebay have been returned, requested that I provide a current email address (by clicking on a link) and threatened to suspend my account for noncompliance.
The request seemed reasonable enough at first glance, but made no sense on further reflection. If Ebay does not have my correct email address, I could not have received the email request.
I forwarded the email to spoof@ebay.com and was immediately notified that my suspicions were correct.

every time I get one I worry about someone getting suckered :(
Mine suggested that my account had been suspended for a violation etc. What made me second-guess my instinct was that I'd just logged into eBay to do something with the new PayPal debit card I'd just received, and when I finished that the message came.
Walker was sitting next to me at the time, and he assured me that it was a coinsedence, and it was GOOD that I didn't click on it.
Watch out for Pay Pal, too.....don't go to the link the email will suggest....go directly to pay pal's website to check on your account. I got so many scary emails about my pay pal account that I just closed it!
Let's be REAL careful out there!
