Question.. Do you have pet insurance?

Our pets are our family. It is our job to provide for them when they are sick.

There are several types of pet insurance available from several different companies that I have found. Some cover just accidents while other cover regular appointments as well. And the prices vary also. I seem to like VPI so far. But would like to know if anyone has any experience with it.

I am thinking of getting some because I could not imagine some day if I needed it and I didn't have it. I could not make the choice of not getting my babies treatment for something because of a financial situation. Do any of you have pet insurance and which company. Do you like it if you have used it?

I can't even afford dental and vision insurance with a better price! I wish we could get pet insurance.

I had pet insurance and it never seemed to cover what my pet needed. I would check it out very carefully to be sure the cost of the insurance is worth it and what their coverage specifically is. Just my opinion.

I have VPI insurance for my two dogs. I picked up a brochure from my Vets office and liked what I saw and signed them up. In fact I just got checks in the mail a couple of days ago for their annual shots. When I was looking into insurance for them, VPI seemed to have the best offer and lower deductible. I have had no problems with them the year and a half I've been with them.
