911 Remembrance Flag

Now that we can 'spotlight' an article. I thought this one should be one of mine. I published this article, in 2007. The "911 Remembrance Flag" website is still working. And you can still purchase from them. I sadly, have not gotten mine yet. Something always comes up and I dip into my paypal account.

Below is the original article. 

Yesterday while doing some online searching. I came across this website called,
 *911 Remembrance Flag.* Steve and Joanne, a wonderful couple came up with the idea. In June 12, 2005, Steve passed away. Joanne promised Steve she would continue the *911 Remembrance Flag website.*

Thinking like everyone else. What could they do to help with this tragedy. They heard two news commentators relating 911  to Pearl Harbor. And were dishearted to hear they didnt know the date (12/7/41). Between that comment and seeing a POW/MIA flag flying. They came up with the "911 Rememberance Flag*.
 So everyone could display their remembrance of the lives lost, as well as the proceeds providing ongoing donations to the various relief efforts.

I thought what a wonderful idea! I would love to have one myself.  Thankfully they have paypal for an option. =)
Now as soon as I can earn $40.00 on my paypal. Im gonna have one myself.  The S/H is included in the price of the item.
I really like how they decided the colors of the flag. This link will take you there. And from there, you can use the navigation bar. To buy the flag, stickers, patch or charm.
 If time view the link on the website. It shows a video presentation Joanne made in July at Windsor Park.  Joanne told me, Mr Mussari (who did the video) did an incredible job.

Paulette~ The tragedy itself was just horrible! As well as the surrounding area and people etc that it effected. It is scary now after the smoke has settled. To see how it is still destroying people's lives!
Joanne, says the proceeds goes to various relief efforts. Hopefully that will be one of the areas it covers...

Sadly, it sems we are stilllosing people to 9/11 with all the illnesses that are no being reported among firefighters and others associated with the horriffic day.My boyfriend at the time and I were there just days after voluntaring and I still have nightmares and cry over what I witnessed. Tragic...simply tragic.
