Hahaha I have a cairn terrier who does the same thing with rats and mice. She has also caught a couple of grass snakes. Ugh I can't stand any of them and she brings them to us like she brought us a treasure or something.

Terriers were bred to kill vermin. Bridget has killed a half a dozen moles, a chipmunk and a bird and then rolled on the bodies of her prey. She has also cornered a couple of snakes and chased numerous squirrels and rabbits.

terriers are meant to hunt rodents. last week my jack russel was hit by a car
(the b-------) I still miss her. Anyway, she would catch mice, the cat wouldn't, but Krystal would.
