Wardrobe Malfunction?

Today the 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Philadelphia will hear arguments about the Feb. 1, 2004 halftime show when 90 million Americans watched  the notorious "wardrobe malfunction" that bared Janet Jackson's breast.

The federal appeals court will decide whether the halftime show was indecent or merely an accident that should go un punished.

The FCC had fined CBS Corp $550,000 for the incident and CBS challenged the fine stating that it was not planned, and therefore should not be considered indecent.

I think shit happens and it most likely was an accident. Why would she want to bare her breasts on TV?

Because they should have been more careful. Malfunction or not, many 'families' were watching the event and these music artists are looked up to by young children. TV today is very risqué. It just keeps getting worse.

It astounds me that our nation can bring the sight of a breast on TV to such legal extremes, but it's okay to bomb the crap out of another country.

Just yesterday there were demonstrations by Iraqis in western Baghdad to protest a U.S. airstrike that occurred last week. U.S. combat helicopters and tanks bombarded a Baghdad neighborhood in predawn strikes last Thursday, killing 14 sleeping civilians and destroying homes.

Why are we outraged at a breast instead of at bombs????????

I'm with Sheryl. Who really cares? Why is nudity such a no-no here in America anyway? I think Europeans have the right idea. If it wasn't such a taboo and considered indecent here in America then maybe it would be such a big draw for teenagers and the like. People in europe grow up seeing breasts all over their television and in public (depending on the country) and they are perfectly normal people. Why does everyone thing that the sight of a naked breast (or other body part) is going to scar someone for life? For a country that has such "freedom" when it comes to nudity we are possibly one of the most conservative countries on the planet!

I can't believe someone wrote that! LOL... So, everyone with nipple piercings are wanting to expose themselves all the time?!?!? COME ON!

So she accidentally exposed her boob *gasp* *faint* ----- get over it!
