Gift Budget

Lately, my wife and I have had to sit down and work on our budget.  She loves giving gifts, and I do too, within reason.  I think it's very important to have a budget to work off of, and then you know your limits.  Recently, we both have jobs that have a set amount of income, so we can work off of it.  It's very helpful.  Before, I was selling insurance and the income was scattered.  I use Quicken, and I love it. 

Some of the gifts she has bought lately have been surrounding some of our friends and their new babies.  There seems to be a rash of them of late.  She bought Winnie the Pooh Bedding and Mickey Mouse bedding for our nephew and friends' baby showers.  Both, very cute.  Pretty soon, as they grow up, they'll be getting other toys like cute little monkey stuff.

With all these babies being born around us, it's caused me to do some research on being a good parent.  Although, I continue to thinkt the best way that I can be a good Father is to love Jesus and read my Bible.
