Nursing School Chronicles ~ INJURED!

Ouchie, ouch, ouch.  I have a nursing school injury.  And no incident report was taken because it was far....too....funny.

I sustained what we call a "Forrest Gump" Laceration on my buttock.  ouch.  Fortunately I am up to date on all my shots.

    Here is the perpetrator.  I was running late for class and so I grabbed what I thought was the least jacked up of all the chairs.  We have wobbly chairs, chairs that won't remain upright, chairs that don't roll......but what did I choose?  The chair with the missing arm rest.  The mean sharp edged chair. And it bit my BUT-TOCK.  owie.  That is me in the corner nursing my buttock.   Fortunately or unfortunately....I was in a room full of nurses.  No one would give first aid to my bum.  siiiiiigh.

    Here is my gaping wound.  I very nearly had daisy duke scrubs going on this night.  And this small portion of my buttock was cold.  And ouchie too.  Waaah.

BUT the good news is.....that I lived to see another day and i should have a really cool scar.  So one day I can say.....oh you think that is rough???  *pull down pants and reveal cool buttock scar*  I got this baby in 2007.  Nursing school ain't for creampuffs I tells yeah.  I am currently working on my cackle.

So that's my story.  My bum is achy.  My scrubs are breaky.  When I asked for for nursing ass- sitance they told me to jump in the lake-y.  What is healthcare coming to friends?
