cover trails of B-52's

carrying nukes
in American skies

lost in the shadows
of twin fallen towers
blinding both eyes
as they fall

over

and over

Short and powerful - yes, the towers fell over and over again that day on CNN, but the are continuing to fall metaphorically every day. Just the plain truth.

You've tied together in imagination the B 52s of the Vietnam era with the B 52s accidentally (?) loaded with armed nuclear missiles flying across the country. Pithy is too light a term to describe the horror hidden within the terse poem. Many of us don't get it but you do, over and over again.
