What have you foregiven another for.. For me it was foregiving my father for abusing me. I'm glad I did before he died..

I forgave my dad for making me feel stupid all my life.

He apologized but it wasn't until I was much older. Sometimes I still feel dumb and question myself but I have forgiven him in my heart - just takes my brain longer to process this and reverse my thought process.

Forgiving is such a powerful force, yet sometimes it is so hard to get to that point. I usually hang on to a little resentment before I am actually able to accept and forgive.
