Very dear friend of mine needs our attention!

Hello all and happy Sunday,  Will be traveling this week so I will not be around this week as much.  Someone that I love very much sent this to me.  Let's show her Gather Alert!

Hello Friends,
On Tuesday I will be attending my divorce trial at 9am on 9/11/07. I'm so nervous now I feel sick. I just need be be able to remain calm and cool and not get upset or angry when questioned by the lawyers and the judge.
I'm shaking like a leaf. I have gotten all the information my lawyer needs, oh, that's a whole article in its self! I have been trying to do relaxing things this weekend to keep my mind off of it but it keeps creeping back in. I will let you know how things turned out. I think I'll be taking Wed. off from work too because I'll be so emotionally drained it wouldn't be fair to my boss or our customers for me to come to work like that. Thank you all for your encouragement, you articles and photos that make me smile and cry. God bless each of you for your kindness and caring!

You are in my thoughts and prayers. I went through a really bad marriage and divorce. If I am lucky enough to survive and go to round 2 of the Romance Novel contest, you should read my chapter 2. If not e-mail me and I will gladly shar it. It is the one and only truth in my entire novel, about my marriage to my ex-husband and where my head was at way back then.

Kathline, I went to her site and read the last article about the divorce being finalized on Tuesday the 11th and I left her a comment, thanks for letting us know, She will be upset for awhile, but I think from her piece on there, she has the worse behind her, and a new and wonderful life will open up or her, that is what I wish for her, and anyone that goes through this unkind trauma in their life.

Good luck. I survived mine, even though I found out on the same day that I was losing my job. I came through with flying colors and tell her she will too.

That is what my lawyer told me Spartan. I told her I was looking forward to not hating him or feeling the pain of his betrayal anymore. She said the best thing I could look forward to was "Indifference"

Seven years later that is what I feel.

Hang in there Dearheart. All that you have been through up to this point has been trauma which is why you get that quaking nervous feeling so easily, but I can promise you it will be getting better and better for you each day now. It is perfectly normal to be feeling as you do, so don't let that add to your worry. Sounds like you've got yourself in a good frame of mind and are working to address your feelings, so I'm sure you'll do just fine. Remember, all you are doing is telling the truth, and even though you know you will be facing people who are getting paid to muddy those waters, the truth will set you free.

Divorce is a death and must be mourned as such. I am so sorry you are going through this and I will pray that God gives you the courage and wisdom to come through the legal system with grace.

Thank you so much everyone!!!! I haven't been able to post comments for 3 months and I finally can!! YEAH!!! My divorce trial was postponed, it will be in Jan. 2008 now. Someone dropped the ball somewhere so it got postponed. Not happy to begin with but I am certain that I will survive this. I will get through the trial on 1/4/08 much better prepared than I felt in Sept. My family has been wonderful, my friends and all of you wonderful gather friends and aquaintences. I know I will carry your strengh with me in Jan. ! Those of you that have been through and have survived and those other who are going through this now; here's to singlehood, being your own person, being strong and surviving!! Thanks again for all your comments!

Only advice I can give right now is best effective way to have more readers/viewers is when you send out a mailing about your piece, please have a clickable link. It makes things easier. Sorry, just trying to be helpful. :o)
