The story of "YOU HIT ME!"

Ok so a couple of people have asked about the "YOU HIT ME" in my name.

This is actually one of my moms favorite stories that she seems to have to tell everyone like any mother would do. It is cute and I think it is funny now that I am older. I don't know exact details but this is the story as told to my friends, family, boyfriend, and anyone else who would listen.....

When I was young we used to always go over to my great grand mothers house. She had a daughter that needed to be taken care of all her life. She could not eat or do anything on her own. At the time there was a nurse that came to help with bathing and taking care of her. According to my mom I asked and recieved a peice of candy...I think it was hard candy. Anyway, I started to choke on the peice of candy and the nurse proceeded to help me and I could breath again. Well, me being the little girl that I was decided that I was going to put my little hands on my hips, turn around, and say....."YOU HIT ME!" There I was choking and this nurse saved me and all I could do was be mad that she hit me (didn't hurt me of course). So there you are. That is the story of how that became the favorite story of my attitude as a child. I will never live it down even if I didn't understand at the time she was helping. All I new was she "hit" me.
