To watch football, or to shop?

Football season just came roaring into my living room. Joygasam. Now- to go shopping? Or to take a bath and read whilst ignoring football? It's like a hostile take over of my living room.

I suppose I am fortunate in that I am more of a football fan than my fiance. :)

Taking a bath and reading is always nice and relaxing, while shopping can be hectic. I'd vote for the bath, but that's just me. :)

Thank goodness my husband isn't into sports. Plus, being a truck driver, he isn't home to watch TV!
I'm watching the Vikings game right now! I did my shopping yesterday & will probably go to an Estate sale a little later. Hubby is tapping it, so if I miss anything really good, he will show me!

Yes, definetly hostile. He was all up in my face, and yelling at the TV, and... ok, so it was more of a docile takeover, but still- a takeover none the less!

My hubby loves to watch soccer. Thankfully it is only international soccer that he prefers. I prefer not to watch anything involving a ball.

Pats all the way! I perfer to watch the Pats kill the Jets any day of the week... Shopping. mmm I only go shopping when I am upset... Good luck with the shopping, dont worry the game only lasts about 4 hours, hopefully your husband doesnt do what my dad does and watch every freaking game that it is on... How about 2 tvs?

Well Mel, you got your wish - the pats just destroyed the Jets today. As for Heather? She made her choice and did both - she took a bath and read, but then took off to go shopping. Meanwhile, I've had the TV all to my lonesome. :)

My husband and I like to watch football.... so no doubt, we'll stay at home and sit in front of the TV when our favorite team is playing. ^_^

I hated football five years ago when I moved into a house with hardcore football/Steelers fans. Now dont get me wrong, I am from around Chicago and will always love the Bears. Back then I loved to hear about them....hated watching them.
After one or two years of listening to the guys watching the games, I finally got into it and now LOVE watching football on Sundays with a bowl of our traditional Sunday chili in hand. THe only bad part is this year we didnt get the NFL Sunday Ticket and so I only catch the Bears games once ina while or when they re run later in the week.
I was also surprised that I used to hate hockey and now I cant get enough of the Penguins!
