RFID chips for pets have been touted (and used) quite a lot by now. And some people have been 'chipped' also. They have been suggested and/or used in humans for security ( key you can't lose or leave at home), tracking Alzheimers patients ( a marker that they can't leave behind or get stolen), and keeping anybodys medical records (which doctors could then get without having to have a conscious patient to help them) . And it seems that there are no associated problems. Oops! An article " Chip implants linked to animal tumors" suggests that maybe somebody 'forgot' to look very closely. I suppose it is possible that his employment a few months later by the main company benefitting from FDA approval may have been a coincidence. I mean there is absolutely no record of beaucratic payoffs ever happening. All known political appointees to date have been completely and totally honest. No worries right?

Check out verichips "loving" solution for the elderly. I can hear the advert for it now
"Are you loved ones causing you too much trouble? Why don't you chip them and save yourself the effort of having to actually care for them
