I'm posting this to GNN because I thought of a headline that I like. I also think that this is funny. But, there's something else about it. It almost made me not post to this group. This story is true.
I have some beautifully coloured socks. You can see one of them by looking at the photograph of my right foot. You might ask where I got those socks.
I stole them. I stole them from my mother.
Now, you might be wondering where she got those socks.
She stole them. She stole them from her mother.
Now, you might be wondering where my grandmother got those socks.
She stole them from her daughter (my aunt - not my mother).
My aunt was given the socks by her daughter (my cousin).
My cousin purchased the socks.
Please feel free to discuss this here or among yourselves. I figure when you put something on the net, you'd better be OK with people discussing it.

Lydia and BONGO were chatting on AIM when a story that was appropriate for a general audience crossed BONGOs mind so he posted it here (see above) instead of just telling her and only her.
Lydia laughed and replied with her own wonderful article. See link conveniently provided by Ms. Meacham above.
You know the disappearing sock thing? My brother was working on his dryer once and took the drum out and there were like 30 socks inside the dryer that had somehow escaped while drying. So now we know, dryers eat socks.
Don't ask me why vultures want socks but they do
I'm just sayen...
