You might like Poppy Z. Brite, based on some of the others that you like, though I will warn you that she isn't for everyone. She writes about vampires in one of her novels (Lost Souls) and other vaguely supernatural stuff in some of the others.

MaryJanice Davidson's books are fun and quick readings. Also, Chelsea Quinn Yarbro's vampire books are excellent.

here are some that I have read and loved either the style or the characters Karen Marie Moning ,Kay Hooper-The Wizard of Seattle,Shiloh Walker -she has three out I've only read Hunting The Hunter, Lara Adrian -Kiss of Midnight and Kiss of Crimson, Meljean Brook,Sunny, Vicki Petterson , Kerrelyn Sparks-Be Still My Vampire Heart,Robin D. Owens -(there is a series Heart Mate, Heart Dance, Heart Choice, etc very cool fam cats ),Nina Bangs,Kathryn Smith most of these books contain adult sexual content much good reading to you I really loved all of these!!!

I want to give you the heads up on Sherrilyn Kenyon she has 14 books that I know of in the Dark Hunter series if you start reading her book you will need to get the rest if you haven't read them already she also has a series B.A.D. I've read two both good she also writes under another name Kinley MacGregor The Lords of Avolon books I just saw one more author you might like J.R. Ward -her vamps are so sexy whew !!!!

If you've never read Robert J Randisi, try him you won't be sorry. ALONE WITH THE DEAD and IN THE SHADOW OF THE ARCH are the first 2 books in his Det. Joe Keough series. Well worth the read.

Katie MacAlister- she has two series. One is about vampires and the other is about dragons. It's paranormal romance but more on the light, funny side.

Mary Janice Davidson- vampire series, same vibe as Katie's

J.R. Ward- vampire series
