This is a shameless attempt to attract new members to my groups! I appreciate all who have joined the variety of groups I have here on Gather. We have some great articles and photos posted.
I've been thinking it might be nice to let all the new members, and the old ones who have missed my groups when they were first started, to learn what my groups are about, and have the opportunity to join. Check them out, and please join if you'd be interested in contributing new material. All of my groups except "Don't Be Mad" are moderated, in order to keep things on topic. Looking forward to meeting some new members!!

This group is for people who have a dog in their life that isn't any particular breed, but is special in its own unique way. Share anything related to mixed breeds. Stories, personal anecdotes', photos, jokes, health and training tips, etc. The group will be moderated, so that we can keep on topic. When you come by, I want you to see what you came expecting to see! Doggy stuff!! Enjoy!
Wild and Wonderful West Virginia

I hope people will use this group to get things off their mind, or to receive some calming advice or comfort from other members.

So release your anger here in your support group, and go to sleep anger free!
All teachers in training are welcome here. Come in and share what's on your mind. It can be a personal observation, any random thoughts on your chosen profession, maybe a distressing situation, or even a photo you'd like to share with the group. |

I am already a member of the West Virginia one.
By the way ................. Did you know that the state is finally listening to the people of WV??? I have complained from the time they changed the sign at the state line from "Wild & Wonderful West Virginia" to 'Open For Business".
I hate "Open for business" It makes us sound like we want to sell out. LOL
You can now vote for what you want on the sign or nominate something else.

When you go to the state web site. You will notice at the left sorta...top of the screen that they ad changes. Watch carefully for the ad to say something about a survey. Quickly click on it when it does and it will take you to where you post your thoughs on the sign. I do hope you will vote. I hate the current sign.
I think the voting ends on wednesday. Dont quote me on that though. I do know it ends this comming week
I hope we get something nice up on those signs!

Marsha I would like tojoin the W. Virginia group even though I personally don't live there, however my brother does on 130 acres and has just built a house.

WV's tax rate is 6%. Not as high as in some states, but the gas prices are terrible!!
