I have left this group drag along because of more pressing work I was involved in. While I was gone not one of you published anything on disaster problems. A few new ones came on but didn't relate to our function at all.
I want to save people from suffering from large disasters! That is what I am about and think about it 24/7. It would seem like some of you would be interested in what happens if the next big one hits your home area. Just look at the weather chart and see that at this time we are being sized up by a storm off the East coast that may turn into a coastal hurricane in just a few days. It is never too late to work on your disaster plans and consider what is needed to withstand one when it comes your way.
Many of you are new to this site or gave it up as not worth while checking any more. If we start to rebuild it I will try harder to keep you interested and learning things to help you. How about one of these Let's do it! ---Quit now as we all know what to do! Give me your comments and I may listen, but being dumb may still try to keep helping.
By the way, I have been thinking about how everyone can save energy by doing little things. Maybe we can come up with a fun list by each person adding one thing at a time.

It also discusses the need to build with homes that resist disasters. I will answer any direct questions I can because I want to help stop this suffering each time a disaster strikes.
