Today my husband surprised me & asked me if I wanted to run the errands that he normally does! I was overly excited! haha I know it sounds crazy, but I have been a stay at home momma for about a year now. And lately I have been feeling shut in the house & just so worn with the kids all day everyday! One of my errands (and last errand at that) I told myself I would go get a Boston Shake. I had a friend describe it to me one time & I thought ok I am gonna get one today! :o) It took me a while to find the place that sold them, because I have only lived here for a year and as I said before I hardly get out. I wish I had a picture for you of the shake because it is truly amazing! So I will try & describe it to you. I had asked the girl at the counter if a Wintefresh shake would be good & she said NO WAY haha! I was like okayyyyyyy ummmmm.....Then I told her that I wanted raspberry (and they do real fruit) and for the top I got Chocolate & then a scoop of fresh raspberries on top of that! Ok here is what it tasted like!!!!!!
Cool smooth rich creamy vanilla & raspberry ice cream with yummy chocolate syrup and fresh chilled raspberries on top!
It's a shake and a sundae all in one!!!! I am in heaven & so happy right now LOL! I say if you ever see one on a menu get one!!! :o)
*** Haha now I am bribing my 2 year old to go on the potty & I will let him have some of my ice cream (I have been sneaking tastes since I got home & saw the kids were up LOL!). He is sitting on the potty YAY! ***

How would a Boston shake be from PA? lol
Ok here's the first two paragraphs from War and Peace, Chapter 1 by Tolstoy, just to test this theory further:
Well, Prince, so Genoa and Lucca are now just family estates of the
Buonapartes. But I warn you, if you don't tell me that this means war,
if you still try to defend the infamies and horrors perpetrated by
that Antichrist--I really believe he is Antichrist--I will have
nothing more to do with you and you are no longer my friend, no longer
my 'faithful slave,' as you call yourself! But how do you do? I see
I have frightened you--sit down and tell me all the news."
It was in July, 1805, and the speaker was the well-known Anna
Pavlovna Scherer, maid of honor and favorite of the Empress Marya
Fedorovna. With these words she greeted Prince Vasili Kuragin, a man
of high rank and importance, who was the first to arrive at her
reception. Anna Pavlovna had had a cough for some days. She was, as
she said, suffering from la grippe; grippe being then a new word in
St. Petersburg, used only by the elite.
This comment and rating of your older gather content was an idea Steve the Legend had on how to give a Christmas gift to our Gather connections. He recently posted an article with this suggestion. You are the 5th connection I have done this with so far. I hope you have a great holiday, Birdee!
