These six bloggers will become Gather.com’s first official media representatives for Election ‘08, with insider access to campaigns, experts and events. This is an unprecedented opportunity to become part of the new media press corps!
Blogger hopefuls should submit their articles and/or videos on an election topic of their choice by following the directions below. Entries must be on a topic relating to the 2008 presidential race (but not offering candidate support). Then it’s up to the Gather community to vote to narrow the pool to 30 finalists (10 Democrats, 10 Republicans, 10 Independents), with the final six chosen by Gather’s Editorial Team.
Should YOU be part of The People’s Press Corps? This is your opportunity to be heard! Even if you’re not in the running to be an Election 2008 blogger, you can still get involved. Who do you want to be your political representative on Gather in Election ‘08? Help elect the People’s Press by voting on each entry!
