Soon, we’ll be able to sail onboard Royal Caribbean’s Rhapsody of the Seas® on new itineraries to Australia/New Zealand (beginning in October) and Asia (beginning in December). Here’s some insight into what adventures are in store half a world away.
Onboard Rhapsody of the Seas. Good thing Rhapsody has plenty of glass because we won’t want to miss the view! And if the weather is nice and the view is amazing, we’ll even retract the roof in the Solarium. This ship becomes a comfortable home away from home with all the comforts you can think of. And don’t forget the rock-climbing wall, six whirlpools, two pools and Centrum shopping atrium!
Exploring Asia. The Orient is without a doubt one of the most captivating parts of the world! In Hong Kong, China, we’ll go elbow-to-elbow with experienced shoppers at world-class markets. From Okinawa, Japan, we can explore an ancient castle residence of the Ryukyu royal family. And in Hanoi (Haiphong), Vietnam, we can explore the rural farmlands of the Red River Delta (an area so remote, we may become the objects of curiosity!).
Discovering Australia/New Zealand. Our voyage Down Under turns our winter into their summer. We’ll get great views of the famed Sydney Opera House and “Coat Hanger” Bridge, see some of the world’s strangest creatures like the platypus, wombat, Tasmanian devil and kiwi, and sail through the mysterious New Zealand fjords, the inspired landscape of J.R.R. Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings.
Extending the journey. Our cruises sail to some of the most fascinating ports in Asia and Australia/New Zealand. To further enrich your travels, join us on a cruisetour. In Asia, we’ll be able to walk on the Great Wall of China, stand in the center of the legendary Tiananmen Square and explore a rainforest in Thailand on the backs of a trained elephants. In Australia, we’ll sip champagne as the sun sets over the Outback’s outrageously red Ayer’s Rock, take a seat at the world-famous “Crocodile Attack Show,” and check out the underwater wonders of the Great Barrier Reef.
As we continue to explore more of the globe, we gain new insights into how life is led on this planet. I’m excited to explore Asia and Australia/New Zealand with like-minded adventurers just like you!
