How my life has changed being a parent....#3

        Well, these articles are not as close as I was hoping, but I am trying to work it out! Once my daughter is settled in school, then I will try to do these at least once a week if not more.

        I want to talk about how the music in my life has changed today. Before I had my daughter, I knew all the latest bands and could sing all the words to the songs. When I would drive in my car, I had many stations to choose from. Now when I am in the car, my daughter asks for "her" music and not mine. Instead of the newest bands and rock and roll music, I get to listen to the Wiggles, Dan Zanes, Putumaya music (music for around the world, I actually kind of like these!), Laurie Berkner, and various other kids bands and songs. I even find myself singing these songs at night when she is asleep! I have tried to make these adult times, but they seem to pop up anyways! My husband even sings them at work!

        I know one day she is going to start listening to the new songs on the radio. I'm afraid that by then, I will be so far out of the loop that I will never get back in! I just hope she listens to music that I like by then! One can only hope.......
