I fell asleep pn the couch last night and at 12:30 woke and went to bed. I got up this morning and went down to the kitchen to make cofee and my door had been open to the patio all night. I'll have to watch that.
the more aggravated I've been about doing them, the more I've been charging -- and nobody flinches.... I'm still a lot cheaper than the rip off joints in our area

Thanks, flit. I was just telling my friend the other day how I got sick with the same crap every Sept. for years, but that the last few years I've been lucky. And then this hits me. I think I jinxed myself.

Today is the first day of school for the 3 older ones and Randy has to wait til the 17th to start preschool! How have you been??

Autumn started first grade this year too Bridget! Tianna is in middle school (6th grade) and Miles is in 2nd grade. Devin goes to preschool half day and the other two stay home with me. Shaylee is so upset she's not going so I keep telling her she gets to go next year!
He doesn't talk (that's why he needs preschool) so I'm not sure how aware he is that he's going back to school, Audrey, but he loved going last year so I'm sure he'll enjoy himself again! :)
Very cool Audrey!! Joe thankfully drives himself, he practices everynight after school until 7 and then he has weightlifting for an hour. Then home and homework. BUT he loves it! I was teasing him this weekend, he is a 12 sport athlete, and will get the HS award for that, and 1/2 of his friends are jock, and the other half are all the computer geeks, like he is on the inside! I was calling him my Jeek! LOL Zach is startign all day K, so he won't ge home til 4:30 and then has to leave at 5 for his FB practice every night. Lilly does side line cheer, 2 nights a week, and we are up in the air about Tap yet, she wants to, but it's very expensive. SOO, poor Randy will be home alone with Mom for the next couple weeks til he gets to go to school too!
No doubt! We are all sports nuts, so it's probably not something we will ever NOT be doing. My 5 & 6 year olds both played soccer and tee ball this summer too! The baby(he hates when i call him that!) also hates waiting to get ot do stuff!
Hello Everyone. I got up at 5:30 this morning to take my daughter to the hospital for an x-ray and to get her leg cast off. Unfortunately, after 6 weeks in a cast and wheelchair, her leg didn't grow the amount of bone they had expected. So, now its 2 more weeks in the cast and wheelchair. The doctor reinforced the cast and put a cast boot on the botton and said she can walk a little bit with less than half her weight on the leg in the cast. Dr. told her to walk on her toes on that side. She was disappointed. She wants the cast off and to go back to work.

Good morning all! I haven't dropped in in a while because I haven't been able to find the article! But I'm happy I found it today! How is everybody doing? I hope everyone enjoyed the gorgous Labor Day weekend weather
We have to watch our 4 year old grandson all day every day this week. His siblings started school today and he doesn't start all day Head Start until next week, so there is no one home to watch him while my daughter works.
Flit, we had a little of kittens in our wall one time and especially around our bathtub. We could hear them meow every time someone to a hot bath (and cooked them!) A pregnant cat had gotten under our house and had her kittens in the wall. We had to tear off a plumbing panel to get them out and they were about 6 weeks old by then.
hubby ripped the wall that they USED to get into (between our bedroom and the spare room ....right apart (on the spare room side) ... they don't go there any more ... but I sure can hear something above me right now.
Audrey - I've been well! My weekend overall was good but still getting through a lot of the pain of the recent breakup. Much better than I was though :-) Did some shopping and relaxed A LOT!

Now that school has started and the evenings are cooler(most places) do you all feel like we are sliding into the fall season? Even the winter clothes in the mall stores don't bother me now.
George, help yourself to the rolls. I used to thin the "W" word was one of those four letter naughty words, but now I'm glad I'm still able to do "W" when I have to. Glad I don't have to do it every day though.
I guess I will go check my e-mail for a bit, including seeing what's on freecycle today. Then when my grandson gets here, I was to shop for some fall decorations for our house. Have a great day eveyone!
Does everyone here have one of those electric cup warmers next to their computer? I know some people don't want food or drink near their puters, but I am so glad I have a warmer to keep my coffee or tea hot.

got to drop off a computer on my way out & pick up another on my way back.
