My Cup of tea would be made of dandelion leaves
Brewed so very perfectly, even William it would please
I would serve it up with scones, and little cucumber sandwiches
Marge, and Wilma and I and Fred and Tinch would join Barbara B
Rita and Julia and Sue D., Norma a newcomer, and also Carole D.
While William strummed us a tune on his guitar while yodeling
up there on the Dandelion Moon
I would break out my best china, it is very nice you know
I have a large serving set, since my family sure did grow
I have the cups and saucers, with fancy handles oh so frail
and the little plates for goodies , I didn't get them through the mail
There is the teapot, sugar bowl and creamer, for those that like it light
And of course I have a decorated swatter, in case ants we have to fight
By now up here on the Dandelion moon, we have a place to sit about
so we are very fanciful in our dining as William strolls all out
When we are finished with his serenade, he will be welcome to partake
And he had better drink it, it took a lot of trouble , and I baked
The chocolate factory has been working overtime,
to make delectable treats from ants,
And if a chill should come along, we have llama vests for all
doesn't matter what your size, one size fits large or small
Fred has been analyzing what makes this place so great
and Tinch has been helping him, they're even sharing one small plate
We are all laid back relaxing up here on this lovely moon
Enjoying tea and listening to William's strumming tune
His yodeling sometimes might cause your nerves to tingle
But don't fret too much about it, he's writing a new jingle
He is so down on dandelion tea, he wants to make us swoon
He is getting his haircut at Rita's and tattooing his own moon
Since he is doing so much work up here, his weight is going down
and the sight of his thong falling is making us all frown
But in spite of all our little trivial matters that may seem very big
We are all here enjoying ourselves, Fred is dancing quite a jig
Tinch is quite the quiet one, he sings Sinatra songs
No matter how we try to, we can't get him into thongs
Now all this is very entertaining as I sit and oversee
For don't forget this is my Dandelion moon
I am the queen and I am sneaking in Paul and Elvis
For Barbara B. and me.
All the people back at gather who would like to have tea with us
Don't worry about us running out, we have lots of fairy dust
This serves to keep the moon so fertile, dandelions will procreate
We will never run out of tea you see, don't worry if you're late
See you soon
Snap your fingers and say Zoom

Love the poem,Elsie
Sounds like we will be having a good time soon.
William and Alison will regale us with music at noon.
Christina brings her yummy banana cupcakes to consume.
Mary offer lemon bars, such a delicious perfume
and Brenda's cornbread salad will make you swoon.
Marge, good additional follow up to the poem. Anyone who can bring such good food will certainly be welcome!
Good night, Elsie. All will be well with the Queen holding court on the moon.

If you give me dandelion tea I will pout
I just found out that I have tomorrow off from baby sitting so can spend the whole day there on the moon with everyone.
can learn baking from you and tell some Indian love tales ...
wrote cause my durned computer was down and Mikey the
guy that works on it just brought it back. I fixed a huge dinner
and he and wife Laurie and son Joshua pigged out! I made lots
of good stuff, baby-back ribs, kielbasa with Sweet Baby Rays
bar-b-que sauce, mac n cheese, fresh carrots, corn, potato salad
steamed white rice, fresh tomato sliced and chocolate cake!
And William if you play Elvis I will croon for you! Hey! I missed y'all
and I hope this computer don't go down again I can't take it!!
