70's songs

While I was growing up in the 70's I have had more than a few favorite songs. Songs that made you turn up the radio just a little louder, the day seemed just a bit happier when that song was playing. One of my favorites was Beautiful Sunday by Daniel Boone, but then again there was Fox on the Run by the Sweet, and The Mighty Quinn by Manfred Mann. I loved these oldies! Did you have any favorite 70's songs, some of these, or maybe others? If you can remember put the group or singer with the song too.

My favorite 1970s song of all time is "Nights in White Satin" by the Moody Blues. I wish radio was like it was in the 70s again. I loved being able to listen to Led Zeppelin, Johnny Cash, The Osmonds, Jimi Hendrix, and Chicago all on the same station.
