Let’s try something different.

 

I have a riddle for you. Try it! See if you can find the answer.

 

I will check back frequently this holiday weekend and will congratulate the first to get the correct answer.

  

Here goes…

 There is a thing that nothing is, and yet it has a name; ‘tis sometimes tall and sometimes short.It joins our talks, it joins our sport, and plays at every game. What is it?

 

 

OK, it has been a day, and no one figured out the riddle. So, here is the answer:

A SHADOW

 

You will find reference to this riddle several times in Stephen King's The Waste Lands (The Dark Tower III )
