Ten, great writing :)
Marilyn
Nice poem, Esther's Enigma S....
Joe - I know you know who this is and yes I guess she is trying to get voted in by the Cardinals to become the Pope. Please keep me posted when you find out whether she got the promotion...lol
Thanks Joe!;)
Marilyn - Thanks so much. Was afraid to post it for fear that I would be laughed at but nonetheless posted it anyway.
Minnie - Thanks for the compliment. I realize that it is rather simplistic and maybe even childish but it is my very first one after all! Hopefully they will get better...
Apryl - Great, now that she's learned how to ride one, we'll never catch her...lol! Thanks for lifting my spirits hon...;)
Chad - Thanks! I'll try.
Scott - Yes I am rather bold sometimes and jump in without thinking but I felt this, didn't think about it twice and wrote it. The words just came out and alas here it is for the world to see and criticize.
Thanks for being such a kind supporter of me. I really appreciate it! ;)
They went out over the Ocean in a plane about 120 miles and were pushed out of the plane at about 10,000 feet and were told to swim back home
Joe - Its alright Joe, now lets think about some more comedy routines ok?
Cori - Thank you, I'm just blown up with words honey, don't let these fool you... ; )
But for some reason over the past year, I dont like rhymes. I used to like them very much. I know you read me Esther, do you think they took out my attraction to rhyme when they fixed my heart this time last year?
Good job, keep writing.
Natalie - Yes, Daniela is my friend from Argentina who is very special to me. She has been my supporter from the beginning and have missed her so. Of course we never had any problems it wasn't anything her or I could have done differently, just changes in peoples lives that make them grow distant from one's eye.
Karen - I am grateful that you took the time to read this. I'm glad you liked it. A bit immature but there it is anyway...
Terry - You're so funny!! No, hon I don't think that your dislike for rhymes was taken out with your heart surgery. lol!! Maybe you just read too many and just started seeing all of the words intermingle into one?? I like rhyming because thats what I learned in school and it sounds like music to me which is so important to me in my life. I believe that quite possibly I may be better at free verse seeing as I always have something to say. ;) Thanks Terry!!
Danielle - She's been here all along...
What would you change to make it flow better?
Only with honesty can I grow and learn.
and they put her in the galley to cook and serve. Oh!
The poor dear lady!
For me, it's a young man in Brazil . . . he's no longer young, but then, neither am I.
Perhaps South Americans are just unforgettable.
Thank you for sharing this. I'm sorry I didn't see it sooner!!

Actully the truth be known. This was written in a minute or so straight from the heart while writing an email to this friend that I knew here on Gather from Argentina. There was no planning just pure sentiment. So as for the rhyming rhythmn I would have to say c'est la vie because I didn't plan on it, the words just slid onto paper.
